KYA is the Kentucky Youth Assembly.  It is a student government program run by the YMCA.  Students create bills for Kentucky and learn to debate issues important to our state.  Over 1000 students from across the commonwealth meet for a three-day, student-led legislative session that includes a trip to Frankfort to debate in the House and Senate chambers.
